Yearbook consent and details

Give your consent and add your child's details for this year's kinder yearbook. About five minutes.

Every child gets a page of their own, with a short rhyme and an illustration made from your answers. I write and check every page myself. Once the books are printed they go to your kinder to hand out, and you can buy a copy of your own.

How your child looks

Fill in what you can. Specific details help the picture look like your child. These written notes go into an AI illustration tool without your child's name or anything that identifies them. I check the result against what you tell me here.

You can send a photo of your child, or just photos of details you want me to get right, like their glasses, a hearing aid, a favourite outfit, hair clips or a birthmark. Send whatever is easier to show than to write.

I use photos only to check the illustration by eye. They never appear in the book, go to other families, or get uploaded to an AI tool. They aren't stored anywhere. They come to me by email, and I delete that email once your child's page is approved.

Permission

How AI is used

The only thing an AI tool sees is the anonymised written details from this form, used to make the illustration and the rhyme. No name, no photo, nothing that identifies your child. I review every page before it goes to print.

You can change or withdraw your permission any time before printing. Just email me. Once printing has started, or copies have gone out, I can't change those.

Your own copy

The finished book comes as a hardcover ($59) or a softcover ($49). You're not ordering or paying now. This just tells me whether to set a copy aside for you. When the books are ready, I'll email you a link to order and pay.

What happens next

Over the next few weeks I'll make your child's page, with a short rhyme and an illustration.

The printed books go to your kinder, who hand them out at a time that suits the centre.

I keep your child's written details only for the year the book is made, then delete them. You can ask me to change or remove them any time before printing.
